Dinner at pick more daisies

Due to popular demand, we’re opening for one night a week. So if you couldn’t get a seat at lunchtime pop round between 7:30pm and 10:30pm on selected Fridays. We can get very busy, so please telephone for a table reservation.

On offer, you’ll find a range of delicious tapas.

Things like chicken with sweet peppers, or baked mushrooms, or seafood paella, plus of course assorted cold dishes.

And to top it all off, enjoy a glass or two of our inexpensive wine. Or perhaps a bottle even; followed by freshly ground coffee.

VALENTINE’S DAY MENU 2009

PROLOGUE
Tangy tomato & sweet pepper soup
topped with fresh basil, a swirl of cream & cracked black pepper
served with crunchy croutons

Hot and Sour King Prawns
Fat, juicy king prawns drenched in a marinade of olive oil,
lime juice, tabasco, fresh coriander and julienne peppers –
and served with french bread to mop up the juice.
Mildly piquante

Piedmont Peppers
Half a roasted red pepper cooked in virgin olive oil and stuffed
with sweet cherry tomatoes, capers, olives, feta cheese & anchovies (optional),
with Ciabbata bread to dunk in the juice!
 

MAIN EVENT
Red Thai Chicken Curry
Served with fragrant rice hearts, fine egg noodles
and crispy stir fry vegetables topped with fresh coriander
(lots of coconut cream, ginger, & fresh lime involved!)

Filo Crowns
Stuffed with Spinach & Feta Cheese
and served with Red Pepper Coulis,
French beans, asparagus and new potatoes

Poached Salmon Steak
Served with creamy white wine prawn and parsley sauce

FINALE
